Blueberry + Strawberry Yoghurt Smoothie

I have uploaded my 2nd health and beauty video recipe a few days ago. This time, it's a drink that's not only good for our skin but it's also good for our digestive system.

It's for those who are having constipation problem and this drink might be able to help.


This recipe is again taken from Ray magazine (April 2012) issue.


Yoghurt contains friendly bacteria and lactic acid that are good for our digestive system and bowel movements. In addition, blueberry is rich in anthocyanins that is beneficial for our eyes. It is also rich in antioxidants that prevents cancer and slows down aging.

The original recipe doesn't have strawberry but I added strawberry as a bonus as strawberry is packed with vitamin C for beautiful skin. You are able to get the daily recommended intake of Vitamin C with just 7-8 strawberries. Vitamin C is really good for skin as it aids in collagen production to prevent wrinkles and whiten skin. It also contains xylitol that helps in preventing tooth decay.

Version 2 shows that I was using soy bean powder instead of soy bean milk. Works just as good. ^_^

I realized that I do not have a healthy regular bowel everyday. Not constipation though.. just that I do not do my big job everyday. Perhaps every other day. Ever since I tried this smoothie, I noticed that I do my job everyday. I think it's very healthy.

I have been drinking juice every morning ever since my first juice video. I noticed that my skin has really brightened and glowing. So, I hope whoever are watching this, please give this a try!
